About me and my website
Where it began
My name is August Nielsen. I very fortunately grew up in Santa Barbara Califonia where I was able to see a lot of cool and exotic cars. However I love Porsches especially. Despite their less extravagant design to many of their supercar counterparts, their refined and dignified, yet raw and powerful status are what kept me interested.
Ever since then my dream has always been to own a vast collection of Porsches. I was able to achive my dream by purchasing a 1983 Porsche 911 turbo S, a 1982 Porsche 944, and finally more recently a Porsche Cayman GT4 S.
Where I plan to take it
For the future I wish to create a marketplace where people can post offers for Porsches to buy and sell publicly without going through a used car dealer. I also would like to create a forum soon so that people can discuss Porsches and even other car topics, so that people can learn new things from all over instead of just one person.
Where it is now
Right now I my main goal is to spread tips and tricks about maintaining Porsches and what to look for in them. Since it is a foreign market some aspects of Porsches can be very niche therefore everyone needs a helping hand when figuring things out.
